RECON, la Universidad de Nariño y la Maestría en Diseño para la Innovación Social -MADIS- con el apoyo de Suecia y PNUD realizarán en Pasto foro sobre Emprendimiento Social para la construcción de paz en Colombia.
RECON, the University of Nariño and the Master´s Degree in Design for Social Innovation -MADIS- with the support of Sweden and UNDP will hold a forum in Pasto on Social Entrepreneurship for the construction of peace in Colombia.
RECON, a non-profit organization that identifies, supports and strengthens social ventures that contribute to the construction of peace in Colombia, the University of Nariño and the Master in Design for Social Innovation -MADIS- will hold, on March 22, the forum Social Entrepreneurship: A bet for the development of the Country". Event to be held at the Luis Santander Auditorium of the University of Nariño, located in the university citadel of Calle 18, Carrera 50 in Pasto, starting at 8:00 a.m.
This space aims to talk about entrepreneurship and social innovation in Colombia, especially in Nariño, to make visible and publicize the social enterprises that are emerging with great challenges and needs. The agenda of the Forum will revolve around social entrepreneurship initiatives that through their business models solve problems, contribute to the construction of peace, transform
social realities and contribute to sustainable development, while generating profits and economic development.
With this type of space RECON seeks to generate alliances to strengthen social entrepreneurship in the country, as a generator of opportunities for the construction of peace in the country and the economic and social development of vulnerable communities.
The forum in Pasto is the fourth to be held in the country; during 2018 RECON held three forums in Atlántico, Pacífico and Antioquia, with more than 1,000 people, among which the equal assistance of women and men interested in the issues addressed stands out.
It is a Colombian non-profit organization that identifies, supports and strengthens initiatives of entrepreneurship and social innovation for development, which allow to impact and transform realities to build a different future. The work is aligned with the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals -ODS- and we work for the most vulnerable communities in the country, applying a territorial, ethnic, and gender approach.
