2. Centralized, truthful and timely and georeferenced information for migrants / returnees, about all types of aid and opportunities, as well as the organizations and initiatives they can access and how to do it in Colombia.

3. Connection of the demand for resources: (Financial, human, technical, elements, etc.) With offer: Visibility of the needs of the organizations that attend the migratory phenomenon for connection with the Colombian host society (Population, company, academy, etc) who want to help.

4. All of the above supported in a transversal strategy of INTEGRATION, through the creation, execution and dissemination of campaigns that promote awareness, information on the great positive effects of positive migration.

What led you to create your Social Entrepreneurship?

More than 3 million citizens have emigrated from Venezuela in the last 3 years due to the political and economic situation of their country. Of these, it is estimated that as of January 2019 approximately 2 million of them have done so to Colombia.

This has represented a huge challenge to the Colombian State in terms of institutional preparation and resources to address the phenomenon. Likewise for organizations that have been emerging from society and that do not yet have the technical, financial or human capacity to attend to the very high migratory flow, in addition they work disjointly which duplicates efforts and often squanders resources in constant repetition. in the attention to the migrants themselves.

In addition to this, most migrants still do not find a centralized source with all the information on aid, rights and duties, and how and where to access them in the national territory.

Additionally, according to the UN, proper migration management brings great opportunities for economic growth, cultural, professional development, etc … That is why Turpiales is born as the digital and social tool for better migration management in Colombia.

How does your Social Entrepreneurship impact your community?

Turpiales allows to respond to many of the needs and concerns of all the parties involved and touched by the migration phenomenon thanks to its multidimensionality and character of multiactor articulation, work also strengthened through a transverse message of positive migration in its background and that is seen materialized in the integration campaigns that we carry out and that have a community / neighborhood character, spaces where the migrant population and the host population constantly interact.

Turpiales impacts the collective imagination and also seeks to make this migration phenomenon an opportunity for the development and growth of the country.

This initiative offers answers to fundamental questions about migration, such as those related to the root causes of this phenomenon and possible answers at the level of good policies and good practices, as well as those related to the challenges, for migrants and countries, in relation to welfare, development and social cohesion at the national level. All this influences and impacts peace and human rights in relation to the governance of migration.

What do you dream of happening with your Social Entrepreneurship?

We dream of making Turpiales the benchmark tool in Colombia to address the migratory phenomenon and more ahead of it by making it the benchmark in Latin America for the effective access of this population to their rights and also to exercise their duties, so that they can migrate positively.
