Description of Social Entrepreneurship

Resonar Lab is a social enterprise formed by a group of creatives who share a common vision: we believe in the possibility of fostering social transformations through collaborative practices that involve art, science and technology. We believe that collaboration and the dialogue of knowledge have a great potential to transform the reality of people in difficult situations, that is why our strategies are geared towards creatively empowering the communities with which we work to transform their territories into peace scenarios.

What led you to create your Social Entrepreneurship?

The inequality of our territory has led us to lead projects in remote areas of Colombia: in the Pacific, the Caribbean, the coffee zone and Bogotá, working with vulnerable people, victims of forced displacement, ethnic minorities, social and collective leaders community We believe that it is essential that younger generations understand the importance of thinking critically and systemically about the environmental and social problems present in their realities.

How does your Social Entrepreneurship impact your community?

Strengthening of empowered communities that work to transform their territories into peace scenarios. Strengthening of the ancestral knowledge of each place where we work, its cultural heritage and participatory creation. Visibility of scenarios to share and multiply ideas that promote processes of consciousness and empathy, for which we assume ourselves as resonators and facilitators of processes of significant change.

What do you dream of happening with your Social Entrepreneurship?

We imagine a future for Resonar Lab in which we can impact more communities and consolidate a Nomadic School of Critical-Creative Thinking, to strengthen leaders so that they become resonators of social transformation processes in their territories.
