Description of Social Entrepreneurship
The Ethnic Audiovisual Corporation of Colombia with the acronym Coradecom is preparing to make the first version of Mobile Films, a film made with mobile devices in the municipality of Zaragoza. This Corporation was born amid the rise of the Orange Economy and seeks to train children and youth in the municipality of Zaragoza in Bajo Cauca and the country in the creation of cinematographic and audiovisual content using the tablet or a cell phone to tell stories that highlight the culture of the territory and can be agents of change and peace in their communities.
For this first version, 50 children and young people will be trained in audiovisual creation and film and television production, and they will also present short films and documentaries at the MobileFilms festival that will be advanced in the months of October to December of this year in Zaragoza. We will have the following categories: Environmental, Responsible Mining, Ethnic Culture, Youth Inspires and Women and Development.
What led you to create your Social Entrepreneurship?
The need to offer training spaces to children and youth in the municipality to keep them from the scourge of war and the use of psychoactive substances.
How does your Social Entrepreneurship impact your community?
It impacts generating a change in the lives of children and young people who participate in the training and film festival as well as in the community, since we will have children and young people telling stories and dreaming of a better future.
What do you dream of happening with your Social Entrepreneurship?
I dream that my venture will become a source of life and a dream factory for the children of my municipality, to help in the reconstruction of the social fabric so that we can do a before and after.
