Description of Social Entrepreneurship
Connecta cuisine for all is the first and only restaurant in Colombia where 100% of its payroll is made up of people with cognitive disabilities. They are in charge of the guests’ attention and will make you live a unique experience.
What led you to create your Social Entrepreneurship?
Observe the enormous labor barriers that boys have to access the world of work due to the “Disability” they have. I felt that there should be a business pioneer who will begin to break down these taboos and these fears that revolve around linking them laboriously.
How does your Social Entrepreneurship impact your community?
In addition to generating employment and providing them with a job opportunity, which impacts their psychological and economic well-being; Our mission goes further, as we seek to generate awareness and business culture so that the country is more inclusive day by day. We want to be a showcase so that other companies are encouraged to link these boys.
I dream of seeing Connecta as a very robust brand and that everyone seeing it knows that we were the pioneers in this issue. That they look for us as support if they require it, but that this wave of inclusion covers the entire national territory and, if possible, South America. I dream that there is at least 1 Connecta in each of the main cities of the country and gradually bring this message to all Colombian companies.
